Description

This park is located on one of the largest lakes in the southeast, the 71,100-acre Clarks Hill Lake. It is a great destination for camping as it provides numerous camp sites and picnic areas. Swimming, boating and fishing are also popular activities at this large park. The park is named for a Georgia Revolutionary War hero. Elijah Clark and his wife are buried on the property and a replica of his home and appliance of the era are also there for viewing. Enjoy hiking, mini golfing, archery and canoe rentals all at the Elijah Clark State Park. The nature trail on the property is a 3.75-mile trail with plenty of interesting sights and views.
